Sour Cream Rice

Sour Cream Rice

2 cups sour cream

2 tsp. pepper

1 Tbsp. sugar

2 1/4 Tbsp. onion, chopped

Tabasco to taste

1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)

3 cups cooked white rice

or

1 6.5 oz. box wild rice

4 cups Cheddar cheese, grated

Combine sour cream, pepper, sugar, onion, Tabasco and olives. In buttered 2-quart casserole, layer rice, sour cream mixture and cheese 2 times, ending with cheese on top. Bake at 450° for 30 minutes.

Serves 6.
