I got new cookbooks for Christmas! (Big shock, I know). One of them was the Betty Crocker Heart Health Edition Cookbook and I love it! I’ve recently become a sucker for cookbooks that list the nutritional information after each recipe, and this one does it 🙂 Me and my BFF Jess could probably put away pitcher after pitcher of this stuff. This was the first recipe that caught my eye in the new cookbook!
Lemon Strawberry Punch
3 cans (6 oz each) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 box (10 oz) frozen strawberries in light syrup, thawed and undrained
1 bottle (1 liter) ginger ale
1. In 4 quart container, stir lemonade concentrate and 9 cans water until well mixed.
2. Pour lemonade into punch bowl. Stir in strawberries.
3. Just before serving, add ginger ale and ice; gently stir.
Sodium: 5 mg
