Rice Alfredo

This isn’t the least bit healthy – but it sounds good! Pigtails and Frog Legs!

Rice Alfredo

4 Tbsp. butter

1 cup half-and-half

3 cups rice, cooked

3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained

2 Tbsp. chives, chopped

3/4 tsp. seasoned pepper

1 tsp. salt

Melt butter over medium heat. Add cream and allow to heat thoroughly, stirring constantly. Add rice, cheese, mushrooms, chives and seasonings. Toss lightly until most of the cream has been absorbed and rice is thoroughly heated. Serve immediately.
